As a Product Manager, you will drive the product strategy, prioritization, and roadmap for building & optimizing our customer experiences related to payments. The ideal candidate is a customer-first product innovator who can lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that customers love and that win for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the product strategy and roadmap for Payment experiences, aligning with overall business goals and market trends.
- Effectively work within the McDonald’s digital product operating model to drive toward better customer outcomes in accordance with McDonald’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with partners to implement experiences that align with the global personalization strategy.
- Drive end-to-end product development, including conducting market research, defining customer requirements, crafting product ideas, epics, stories, and acceptance criteria while partnering with engineering & design teams to develop and launch new products and features.
- Deeply understand customer and restaurant crew needs, difficulties, and behaviors through research, user feedback, and market analysis.
- Use insights to guide product decisions and prioritize product backlog items.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to advise product strategy and ensure the product portfolio remains competitive.
- Facilitate release planning, weekly demos with partners and other Agile practices on an operational basis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global markets including engineering, design, marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives. Develop a collaborative environment and build strong relationships with team members to align product goals and achieve business objectives.

- Knowledge and familiarity with UX design, customer experience and customer experience platform technology systems/specifications interdependencies
- Confident working in a quick environment, with a desire to make quick decisions based on continuous prioritization and evolving customer needs.
- Track record of efficiently launching and handling products throughout their lifecycle.
- A proven understanding of relevant analytics and the ability to craft compelling stories using data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in product management.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in an agile product management role
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects
- Experience at a consumer/retail company is preferred.
- Experience building payment experiences in a retail context is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Jira product suite preferred. (e.g. Jira, Jira Plan, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Jira Align)
- Technical or design background is a plus.
