About the Job: The Senior Frontend Engineer will take ownership of projects from inception to deployment, collaborating with product and engineering teams to optimize the UI and application code. They will also enhance the overall development quality through reusable components and design patterns, while solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take significant ownership in building Monte Carlo’s cloud application. The role will involve end-to-end development, from helping formulate customer requirements and designs to full production implementation. You will be collaborating with a small team of seasoned engineers, and your work will greatly impact our product and customers.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Own substantial projects from inception to deployment, take on more responsibility with fewer rules and act like an owner
- Working with the product team and other stakeholders to identify and iteratively deliver values to customers
- Lay a great web foundation for other engineers to build on, helping engineers to move fast (e.g., through reusable components) and move with high quality (e.g., applying design patterns and principles, increasing test coverage)
- Optimize UI and application code for performance, quality, and maintainability.
- Navigate with some ambiguity while solving problems creatively from the ground up and tenaciously pursuing solutions to difficult challenges.
