Remote Senior Designer

We are looking for a talented, product-minded designer with a versatile skillset to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in crafting exceptional customer experiences, balancing user needs with business goals while delivering value efficiently without sacrificing quality. This role will be highly collaborative. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, and proactively deliver solutions – leading the design process from idea to execution to craft intuitive and impactful web and product experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product design lifecycle for our in-house responsive web applications
• Map out and optimise customer journeys to enhance user experience
• Collaborate with teams and business areas across the whole company
• Champion a customer-centric approach to design
• Conduct user research, interviews, and testing to inform design strategies
• Contribute to our design system and its maintenance
• Support marketing efforts through impactful visual design when required
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years professional design experience across responsive web design
• A strong portfolio showcasing your abilities across both product and visual design, with an emphasis on product design.
• Experience having a close working relationship with developers and iterating.
• Experience working on an internal facing product
• Experience with conducting your own UX research
• A high proficiency in Figma – for both design and prototyping.
• A proven track record in crafting CX-focussed designs that have measurably improved customer experience.
• Experience working within and contributing to a design system.
• Experience in campaign creation and delivery.
