About the Job: The Senior Fullstack Engineer will work closely with founders on the Magic product at Hex, driving technical decisions and shipping major product initiatives that enhance the work of Data Scientists and Analysts. The role involves leading, executing projects, and ensuring high-quality user experiences while mentoring fellow engineers. A focus on strategic thinking and business alignment is essential.
We are looking for senior and staff-level fullstack engineers eager to join one of our core product engineering teams. As one of our early senior engineering hires, you will partner closely with our founders on our product roadmap while driving business-critical technical decisions. You will also ship major product initiatives that fundamentally change the way that Data Scientists and Analysts operate, and have ample technical and team leadership opportunities, depending on your interests.
The three product engineering teams that currently have openings are:
- Hex Magic – working on bringing generative AI to Hex
- Workspace – working on delivering a zen, streamlined Hex workspace experience at scale
- Explore – working on delivering complex analytical workflows via no-code experiences to both data veterans and less technical users alike
Each team is looking for seasoned, product-minded engineers with a strong user focus to build out end-to-end user-facing features. We aim to deliver an intuitive, delightful experience that is as empowering as it is pleasing to the eye, and we have plenty of challenges at all levels of the stack.
