About the Job:
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To deliver safe, competent, and compassionate care to all patients attending clinic, and also extending this compassionate care to family and carers.
- To work effectively unsupervised, and be a collaborative team player.
- To deputise in the absence of senior staff to ensure continuity of care for patients attending the Outpatient Department.
- To run and support a variety of medical, surgical and nurse-led clinics.
- To assess patients holistically, and refer or delegate appropriately to multi-disciplinary teams, as required.
- Assist the Nurse Manager and team in meeting divisional goals and speciality targets.
- Provides effective evidence based care in accordance with NMC code of conduct.
- Adheres to local and National policies and guidelines
- Ensure provision of a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients, relatives, visitors and staff.
