As a Registered Nurse at Avery, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care for our residents, acting as the person in charge and standing in for the Manager as required.
Main duties of the job
Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observe all instructions to act upon his/her behalf whilst you ensure high standards of care to our residents. Other responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions, advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, and effectively deploying and supervising the care team to ensure all tasks are completed and residents receive the required care.
