About the Job:
- Phlebotomy and sample management;
- Wound management, dressing and suture removal,
- Taking clinical measurements such as blood pressure, foot checks and other physiological readings,
- Performing ECGs and taking Peak flow readings and Spirometry/Feno (if qualified and training will provided if not);
- Supporting long term condition management by performing diabetic health checks to include foot checks and for respiratory conditions takings peak flow, Spirometry and Feno (training will be provided if required);
- Health promotion and checks would form part of the role with the post holder providing support and encouragement to help patients self-manage their health and conditions;
- Administer the influenza, covid and pneumococcal vaccine under supervision.
- Administer B12 injections.
- Perform ear irrigation;
- Monitor nursing and practice clinical stocks and support in the ordering of nursing supplies
- Undertake and maintain records of cold chain checks and other monitoring checks as required.
