Ward 23 is a 28 bedded Hyper Acute Stroke Unit, caring for patients who have suffered a stroke, along with some medically unwell older patients. We are seeking hard working, motivated , caring individuals to become part of our dynamic multi disciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

• Provides personal care to patients e.g. Bathing, toileting, feeding and care of the dying
• Works in accordance to Trust policies and procedures
• Demonstrates own duties to new starters and others as appropriate
• Observes patients and reports any changes to a Registered NursePerform basic observation process by using automated device for temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations and respiratory
• Take basic patient measurements eg height and weight
