About the Job: 

FCMS is committed to ensuring that our patients have the best possible experience within our service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join us at the Rossendale Minor Injuries Unit. The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Hours:115 hours per month. 4 week rolling rota. Bank Shifts also available. Please see the attached job description for shift pattern.

Pay: £12.80 per hour. We provide enhancements for Saturdays / Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Requirements: Health & Social Care NVQ Level 2 minimum

Main duties of the job

The post holder will undertake a range of clinical duties including venepuncture, ECGs, wound care, observations, and applying plaster of paris to patients with fractures and personal care to patients.

The post holder will also contribute to administrative, reception/floorwalker and housekeeping duties within the service location. This vacancy comes with a degree of receptionist cover.
