Main duties of the job

• We aim to achieve an individual service user’s potential in a collaborative relationship, by addressing concerns raised by the service user by supporting, empowering, and encouraging them to take control of their lives.
• Within the team, we all try to listen calmly, respectfully, and patiently to others and treat everyone in a kind courteous manner. We will all try to be open and honest and work together to promote positive change and recovery. This is a busy environment, and the needs of each individual cannot always be met instantly but should be met in a timely manner. The safety of the staff and patients here is the team’s priority.

We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
