About the Job:
To assist in the provision of support and care under the guidance of a qualified nurseand therapist, for patients with health and social care needs, on the unit or whensupporting patients in the community.This is achieved over a 24-hour period on a rota system and includes days, nights,weekends, bank holidays (including Christmas and New Year)
Qualifications
Essential
- To have or be willing to undertake the Care Certificate (Learning Disabilities)
- Hold NVQ Level II in Health and Social Care and be willing to work towards NVQ III, willing to undertake work-based assessments
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working with people with a learning disability.
