About the Job:
You will be expected to have good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with the numerous patients that visit or contact our clinic daily. Whilst putting the patient first; the successful candidate will undertake a range of clinical and administrative duties as delegated by the Pain Clinic Senior Nursing / Nurse in Charge and admin staff, supporting patients during their pain journey.
There is a wide range of duties involved in this varied role which includes but not limited to;
- Being the first point of contact by working on our reception & making appointments performing base line observations
- Being a chaperone and good listener promoting self-management skills
- Assisting with Xray and ultrasound treatment procedures in our designated theatre within our clinic
- A knowledge of EPR and computers is required as the role will involve telephone and reception duties, including booking appointments etc
- The ability to work at pace, following advice and instruction outlined by medical and/ or nursing staff is essential.
