About the Job:
Main duties of the job
- Experience Essential and trained to NVQ level 2 minimum
- THis is a diverse role with no two days the same!
- Main Duties: Venepuncture, blood pressure checks, ECGs , Long Term condition health checks, simple dressings and some admin procedures and stock control.
- Additional Duties; Excellent Communicator, Data entry on GP computer system, safeguarding trained , attend meetings.
- Digital Technology – NHS is moving towards a digital economy – expect considerable data entry and monitoring across many sectors ( patient records and stock control etc)
- Clinical Governance – needs a good sense of knowledge regarding data security and information governance ( confidentiality , data protection, consent etc)
- Excellent support network of practice nurses and advanced nurse practitioners.
- You will need empathy, care and compassion but also know your limitations to work safely and within scope
