The Family Practice is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Previous experience working in a general practice is essential, as we are looking for someone who can confidently step into the role with a good understanding of primary care.
Health Care Assistants in general practice play a crucial role in delivering and assisting clinical staff in providing treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.

Main duties of the job
Main duties include:
- Phlebotomy
- NHS Health Checks
- BP recording and monitoring
- Urinalysis
- Basic wound care
- Chaperoning duties
- ECG recordings
- Diabetes reviews
- Health promotion activities
- Accurate recording of all patient interactions and procedures on the clinical system
- Ensuring clinical areas are clean, stocked, and compliant with infection control standards
