About the Job:
Main duties of the job
- The Health Care Support Worker is required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, committed to the treatment and care of the patient within The Breast Unit.
- The post holder will undertake a wide range of duties under the supervision of Specialist Nurses, Consultant Surgeons, Radiologists and Radiographers.
- Organise the day to day activity of clinic rooms, print reports, locate notes and prioritise workload as appropriate. Provide a chaperone to patients undergoing intimate examinations.
- Assist the Doctors and Specialist Nurses with clinical biopsies, wound dressings, simple drains.
- Monitor and ensure stock levels are maintained.
