About the Job: 

Applications are invited for an exciting opportunity to join the Clinic team within the Renal/Diabetic Outpatient Department unit in Wrexham Maelor Hospital.The role will involve team working to support the Doctors and Nursing staff as patients attend their clinic appointments. This will involve recording clinical observations and assisting during clinical assessments.

The successful candidate will be offered specific training as required to fulfil the role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

To assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver based care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers.

Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Level 2 in health and social care or equivalent experience

  • Completion of all Wales Induction Framework
