About the Job: 

• The RGN will undertake supervision of Band 3 HCA’s.
• Be responsible for the running of the varying speciality clinics and Diagnostic Clinics namely neurophysiology, urology, Cardiology and Respiratory
• The RGN will be required to independently manage a clinical workload and undertake safe running of a number of clinics.
• The candidate will be required to practice effective communication and organisation skills and possess a number of clinical skills to ensure the safe running of clinics
• You will be required to perform a number of diagnostic tests, which include; spirometry, ECG monitoring, cardiovascular observations, venepuncture, height and weight, urinalysis, bladder scans and flow tests
• The successful candidate needs to be flexible in working pattern and be adherent to the Trust Policy and procedures at all times.
• The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.
• Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period
