About the Job:
Main duties of the job
- To provide a full range of duties, meeting patients’ identified health needs, as well as those patients presenting opportunistically. Work with patients in order to support adherence to prescribed treatments and care pathways.
- Support Nurse/GP run chronic disease clinics to patients (basic screening, phlebotomy) to enable ongoing management and Quality and Outcome Framework indicators QOF.
- To undertake phlebotomy clinics, as well as perform ECG’s, ABPM’s , BP’s and urinalysis.
- Undertake routine and complex wound management clinics
- Initiate and maintain health screening and health promotion clinics
- Vaccine/Cold chain storage, monitoring and recording
- Given we are a training practice to actively participate in the training of GP Registrars
